These amazing lizards are dying because humans are destroying the rain forest.  Every tree cut down gives another opportunity for basilisks' prey to get lucky. The solution to this horrible fate is to recycle paper.  Every piece of paper recycled means another tree will not have to be cut down. Here at our eco resort we do not have trash cans. We make it so everything must be recycled. If everyone recycled we could save many animals and plants. Recycling is the cure for these lizards. Please do not ruin nature.
